I have been reciting this poem for 60 years, I learned it very young. Now my grandaughter is learning it, and she loves puffins, too.

My brother and I learnt this poem when I was about 9. We would spend days reciting and must have driven our mum mad. Even now I remebered some of the lines but was really pleased to see it in print to see the lines my memory was unable to grasp.. I am now 51 and really pleased to be able to share it with my children and grandchildren. Thankyou.
